1. Who handles your information.

OWNIT is operated by OWN IT VENTURES, SSM 202603240903 (003888098-T). Our business address is PLOT 305A, PERSIARAN CASSIA SELATAN 1, 14110 SIMPANG AMPAT, PULAU PINANG. Contact helpownit@gmail.com.

This notice covers the OWNIT storefront, account sign-in, orders, internal tracking and support. Payment and financing providers also have their own notices. New services may need additional information explained at the point of collection.

2. Information we collect.

For an account we use your email address, verified user identifier and authentication/session records. For an order we record your name, phone number, delivery address, purchased items, prices, discounts, payment references, order progress and refund or cancellation history. Support correspondence may include information you choose to provide.

Hosting and authentication services process technical data such as IP addresses, device/browser information and security logs. OWNIT uses hashed rate-limit identifiers to reduce abuse. The shopping bag stays in your browser’s local storage. We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in.

When payments are enabled, the payment provider collects payment information on its hosted checkout. OWNIT receives references, amounts and status; it does not receive your full card number or security code. The EZPay planner does not collect financial documents or make credit decisions.

3. Why we use it.

We use this information to verify sign-in, secure accounts, price and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide tracking, process refunds, respond to enquiries and keep business records. Providing accurate contact and delivery information is necessary to complete these services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not automatically enrol customers in marketing. Any future optional marketing will provide a separate choice and a way to withdraw.

4. Service providers and overseas processing.

Vercel hosts the website and server functions. Supabase provides authentication and the order database; the current project is hosted in Tokyo, Japan. These providers may use infrastructure and support outside Malaysia. Necessary delivery details are shared with the appointed courier.

When connected, Stripe will process payments and refunds. An authentication email provider will deliver sign-in codes. Access is limited to the information needed for the service. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud or a legal claim. The EZPay provider and its data use will be identified before applications open.

5. Retention and security.

We retain order, payment-reference and accounting records for 7 years after the transaction, or longer where a legal obligation or active dispute requires it. Account and support data is retained only as needed for the account, service, fraud prevention or unresolved matters, then deleted or anonymised where permitted.

Access to customer orders is restricted to the customer and authorised administrators. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies and the database is accessed through protected server routes. Providers maintain their own operational logs and backup retention. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Access, correction and your choices.

Contact helpownit@gmail.com to request access or correction, ask about our use of your information, withdraw applicable consent, object to direct marketing, or request account closure and deletion where permitted. We may need proportionate verification to protect your account. Statutory record-keeping and other lawful requirements may limit what we can remove.

You can clear your local shopping bag using the bag controls or browser storage settings. This does not delete order or accounting records. Signing out ends your browser session. Withholding required account or delivery information may prevent us from providing the related service.

Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, full card details or identity documents. Contact us first to agree an appropriate verification method. You may also contact Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Commissioner about a privacy concern.

7. Changes to this notice.

The date above identifies the current notice. We will explain material changes before requesting information for a new purpose. Continued browsing alone is not consent to an unrelated future use.

Kami mengumpul e-mel dan rekod pengesahan untuk akaun. Bagi pesanan, kami menggunakan nama, nombor telefon, alamat penghantaran, item, harga, diskaun, rujukan pembayaran serta sejarah penjejakan, pembatalan dan bayaran balik. Maklumat teknikal dan log keselamatan membantu melindungi perkhidmatan. Beg beli-belah disimpan dalam pelayar; kuki sesi diperlukan untuk log masuk.

Data digunakan untuk pengesahan, pemprosesan pesanan, penghantaran, sokongan, keselamatan dan penyimpanan rekod. Data yang diperlukan dikongsi dengan Vercel, Supabase, penyedia e-mel, kurier dan, apabila disambungkan, Stripe. Data boleh diproses di luar Malaysia; pangkalan data Supabase kini di Tokyo, Jepun. Kami tidak menjual data peribadi atau mendaftarkan pelanggan secara automatik untuk pemasaran.

Kami menyimpan rekod pesanan dan perakaunan selama 7 tahun, atau lebih lama jika dikehendaki undang-undang atau pertikaian. Data lain disimpan selama diperlukan untuk perkhidmatan dan kemudian dipadam atau dinyahkenal pasti apabila dibenarkan. Akses dihadkan, tetapi tiada sistem dalam talian yang dapat menjamin keselamatan mutlak.

Anda boleh meminta akses, pembetulan, penarikan persetujuan yang berkenaan, bantahan pemasaran, penutupan akaun atau pemadaman yang dibenarkan melalui helpownit@gmail.com. Pengesahan identiti yang munasabah mungkin diperlukan. Kewajipan undang-undang boleh menghadkan pemadaman. Jika maklumat wajib tidak diberikan, perkhidmatan berkaitan mungkin tidak dapat disediakan. Memadam beg tempatan tidak memadam rekod pesanan.

Butiran kad penuh dikendalikan oleh penyedia pembayaran, bukan OWNIT. Perancang EZPay tidak mengumpul dokumen kewangan atau menjalankan semakan kredit. Penyedia EZPay dan penggunaan data akan dinyatakan sebelum permohonan dibuka. Perubahan penting pada notis ini akan diterangkan sebelum tujuan baharu diperkenalkan.
